Bill is such a pro, and also very friendly. We initially purchased our vacuum from him at Etobicoke Service Centre, and after 10 years, it worked great but recently a small piece broke off. My husband contacted Bill and he responded quickly. We took the vacuum in and it was fixed in a short few days with a very reasonable price. He also gave my vacuum a good clean and change of dust bag free of charge. I am very satisfied with the service and would highly recommend Bill and Etobicoke Service Center to friends and family who are in need of a good service for your vacuum.

A great experience. I brought in a vacuum cleaner and several parts that had become detached from inside the machine. I had not purchased the vacuum from Beam. Bill told me that he had not seen this problem before, but he would try to repair it. Two days later he called to say that the job was done. He did not charge for the service! When I need my next vacuum, I will be buying it here (he sells high quality machines). This was another reminder that dealing with a trusted small business provides better value that buying on-line or from the big stores. I will certainly be back, and recommend Beam without reservation!

There is a lot that can be said of the level of service and care Bill is providing his customers. The care, service level and expertise are very high level. I was provided with detailed information which helped me make a smarter/better decision with my investment. Got the best price for the beam unit. I also had purchased wall plates from home depot during construction and an issue came up with the vacuum hose fitting into the outlet. I got a response on my email inquiry immediately from Bill and was provided proper wall plates which resoled the issue. 5 star reviews are well deserved for the 5 star experience being provided.

Bill came out to our home after my Wife sucked up a sock in the central vacuum. It was a very suborn removal and he did not quit until it was out! After all that, he even made some slight adjustments to the machine that made a world of difference to the functionality of the main unit.Bill works careful (around the cars in the garage) and is very tidy and neat.I can’t recommend enough!

Excellent service, great pricing--all you need and more from a vacuum store! I'd driven past this local, privately owned shop many times, and when our vacuum stopped working, I brought it in for repair. I appreciated Bill's "tell it like it is" attitude: he admitted that trying to fix my vacuum was essentially throwing away money (the particular model/brand isn't easy to fix, and the parts are expensive, if you can even get them!) Instead, Bill showed me a vacuum that he recommended for my particular needs. Weeks later, I returned to purchase that vacuum, and it has been a godsend, with more features than my old vacuum, some I didn't even realize I wanted until I now use them. Plus, it comes with a 5-year warranty and repairs are done on-site. Finally, it was on sale! All told, I'll definitely work with Bill again for any vacuum service or purchases in the future.

Our old central vacuum had stopped working, and after a poor experience with the original manufacturer decided to try Beam. Really happy with our decision to go with Beam as Bill had been great. He provided the best replacement option for a good deal compared to others, and was very quick in installing. He provided helpful tips and was very patient throughout and with our questions. I contacted Bill @ Beam Central Vacuum based on the great reviews. From the start, it was clear that the positive reviews were warranted. Bill took the time to explain all my options and invited me to the store in order to explain all my options in greater detail. I had a lot of questions and he was able to explain and answer all of the them. We scheduled the install and the installer was great from the start as well. He explained his process and the install was clean and it was obvious that there was attention to detail. Once the installer was done, Bill made a follow up call in order to make sure I was satisfied with everything and to see if I had any questions. He registered my vac for warranty purposes and keeps everything on file for the future.As far as I'm concerned, this is the only place where anyone should go for anything central vacuum related. How grateful I am to Bill Massis and to his Beam store! I was vacuuming all of the Golden Retriever hair on my living room floor when I smelled burning rubber and my vacuum shut off. I am embarrassed to say that I did not clean out the receptical and it was completely full of dog hair. I called Bill and he came over on a Sunday morning to have a look. Wouldn't you know it worked again! Anyway, I am so grateful to the care and customer service that Bill and Beam provided to me in my need. These days such customer service and product support are severely lacking in many retail outlets, so I am most appreciative and happy with my choice to have used Bill's Beam store to install my vacuum 10 years ago!

We had a central vacuum system for the last 15 years and we had so many issues with it that it was time to go for something new. We had read so many great reviews regarding Bill the owner, so we decided to give him a call which happened to be on the Easter Holiday weekend and didn't think anyone would answer the phone, sure enough Bill was there, I spoke to him and told him our issue with our vacuum and asked a few questions and he told us he would be going to the store that afternoon and said if we wanted to go there that day, so we decided to go and check out the vacuums and he explained everything we needed to know. not only did he let us go there on a holiday weekend but he actually came to install the unit for us on that same day!!! he went out of his way just for us!! I was really amazed because no one else would do that. we were impressed that he Installed and explained everything. That's what I call customer service!! Just want to say Bill Thank you so much for your time and service and we greatly appreciate everything you did for us. My Wife loves her Beam Vacuum. My central died (Literally burned up). This is simply the place to purchase or service your home vacuum. When our home central vacuum started having issue, we were referred by a few of our friends to this store as it was right in our local area. George was extremely knowledge, customer-oriented, and truth worthy as he was able to determine that the builders for our town house had installed the incorrect powered vacuum as it was meant for a 2 floor, not a 3 floor town house which we have. George was able to get a great deal on a Beam vacuum which include quick delivery and installation. Once the vacuum was installed, it worked like a charge.As for service, they are fantastic. Our housekeeper recently vacuumed something that got stuck in the hose of our central vacuum. I brought the hose to the store and Bill was able to quickly help me get the item out of the hose no problem.If you want to have a stress-free shopping and maintenance experience for a central vacuum, I strongly recommend that you contact them.

He gave me the straight goods when I was shopping around and did excellent work installing a replacement central vac unit in my home about 15 months ago. Recently, when I had an issue with the upgraded vacuum head I purchased at the time (now out of warranty) I called, he asked me to bring it and the hose in, fixed my issue with very quick and informative diagnosis on the spot and sent me home very happy without having spent a dime. Our central vacume stopped working. The vacume part, the unit itself would turn on. We didn't want to purchase an entire new unit and thankfully we found this vacume shop and the lovely gentleman fixed the vacume part for us by changing the inside board I believe. He plugged it in for me to show me and even offered me to take it to the car. I was so happy with my service, this little mom and pop shop is amazing. Their entire store is dedicated to vacuums which is so rare to find in this disposable age we live in. If your vacume isn't working, I highly recommend you come by and speak to them bc there is a good chance, it can be repaired. They are professionals. This Review is very overdue as my Central Vac was installed earlier this year.First, Bill is a top notch guy, he is VERY informative, patient and takes passion in his business.He recommended a Central Vac for my wife and I that suited our needs and the size of our home, he recommended all the right accessories to go along with the system and made sure he sent the best installer to complete the install in our home.The best thing that Bill recommended was the BEAM Powered carpet head (if that's what it's called), if you don't have one and you have carpets in your home, I would highly recommend it, its a must if you have carpets, it gets them looking brand new again.Bill's installer was great to deal with in our home, he knew exactly what he needed to do, and took care of any mess that he made when he was finished. He paid close attention to detail, and made sure the piping in the basement looked its best.Once the installation was complete and we were using our new Central Vac system, Bill called us to make sure everything was working, and if everything was up to our expectations.Thank you so much to Bill and his installer for delivering and professionally installing our new Central Vac system .5 stars!

Bill has definitely earned this 5 star review. I would not hesitate to refer my friends and family to this great small business. A+++ customer service.When I first called, after quickly troubleshooting over the phone, Bill suggested that I could save $ on a service call by disconnecting my Beam central vacuum and bringing it into the shop. I was hesitant, but he had me send pictures of my unit and walked me through how to do it live on the phone.Bill offered me options for the motor replacement (including original and oem). His pricing was fair and he even turned around the unit overnight to accommodate my schedule. He went over and above my expectations by not only changing the motor, but also thoroughly cleaning it for me as well at no additional charge.Happy customer. We recently moved in to our new home and realized very quickly we needed a central vacuum as the Dyson we were using in our condo just didn’t cut it. I’m familiar with central vac systems as we always had them in previous homes and I knew that the best place to shop for them was through a store like Bill’s rather than big box stores. As soon as I walked in to the store Bill made me feel welcome and he took the time to explain all the products available that would suit my needs. He also arranged to have an installer come and inspect my home to advise on installation and cost. I appreciated Bill’s regular follow up and following through on his commitments. We had the system installed this past Friday. The installer was friendly, efficient and tidy. I appreciated the after care from Bill once all the work was done. For these sorts of purchases I believe that the personalized care you get from a small, family-run business versus a big box store makes a world of difference and I know that if I run in to problems in the future with the unit or need supplies or accessories, that Bill and the Etobicoke Service Centre will be there to help (and remember who I am). I have had nothing but excellent experience at Etobicoke Service Centre. I bought a good quality Riccar vacuum here back in 2007 and it still works beautifully. A few days ago, I managed to get a dust rag stuck in the vacuum hose. I tried everything to get it out, including taking apart a piece that I probably shouldn't have. Bill told me to bring it in, and when I arrived, he kindly fished out the rag and then put together the parts I'd disassembled, without charging me a penny! Very kind, and much appreciated! We're lucky to have such a great business here in Toronto, and I hope it's still here if/when I need to buy a new vacuum.

I find shopping for vacuum system for your home is very overwhelming and there are many systems to choose from. We had an old central vacuum and it was not working effectively and was always making my cleaning difficult and not what I needed. So my husband met Bill, when he was working at the bank. So we went to visit Bill at his store, he was so knowledgeable, professional and answered all our questions and was very nice to talk to. He suggested one if his vacuum system and came and installed it with no problems and in a short time. The new vacuum system he installed is awesome and I can't believe the suction power it has. We have a dog and this vacuum picks up all the dog hair and debris with so much ease. Thanks Bill for all your help and I highly recommend you go and visit the store.

I had noticed that my central vacuum did not seem to be cleaning as it should. Then it just stopped working. I had enjoyed a good experience with Etobicoke Service Centre 5 years ago when purchasing a new power head, so felt confident contacting them for assistance. I was not disappointed, great service with a friendly and informative approach. Bill came to the house, reviewed the system, age, and confirmed that it was beyond repair, particularly as it was near 30 years old. After visiting his store in Etobicoke to review options, we decided to purchase a new Beam system. Bill was able to come to the house the next day, fixed an unknown problem we discovered with our piping, and completed an expert install. They are a pleasure to deal with.

Bill came in to check our broken central vacuum and gave us all the options like repairing vs replacing the system. He did not charge us the service call as we decided to get a replacement. We went to the store and picked out a quality central vacuum to replace ours. He just installed it and did a great job! In addition he quickly troubleshooted other issues we had including another handheld vacuum. He is honest , knows his stuff and I definitely recommend others to come use their services 🙂

Bill was able to figure out the problem with our central vac over the phone and arrived with the necessary parts. These guys are wonderful! Bill came to my home for a consultation almost immediately after I contacted him about an issue with my central vacuum. My central vac is just over 10 years old, and when it seemed clogged I called someone else a year and a half ago. He was an older gentleman who told me I needed to buy a whole new system. Who knows if that's true, if you don't have this particular skill set. I declined, and it lasted until last week, when the suction dropped a lot. I called Bill at Beam Central Vacuum Systems, and just in the first few minutes of speaking to him I felt such a relief. He knew what he was talking about, he was honest, he was nice. He fit me in over the family day weekend and when I met him in person, my instinct was confirmed . He did not try to sell me a new system (though he was honest that I might need a new one, but let's try the other options to see if we can fix it first). Rather he tested all the parts, including the hose (which had a blockage that he removed), and he found a blockage in the pipes (which he patiently explained to me was on a second line, so that is why the suction wasn't poor at all the outlets. Fixed! What a relief. And such a relief to find a professional like Bill. There just aren't many like him anymore. I'm so glad I called around and chose him!

What a great experience! Bill is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Their prices are very, very good & their products are absolutely top notch. After answering all my questions and explaining which options would work best, I ended up purchasing a Smart Powerline central vac. I can't believe how well it performs on all types of flooring. Don't waste time looking elsewhere - this is the absolute best place to buy any vacuum!

I had my central vacuum unit replaced today, as my old one broke. Based on the recommendation, I chose beam serenity, so it will last for many years. I am very happy with the service, and professional advice provided. The guy came on time, and it took only two days to get the service. Definitely recommend this place to anyone, looking to install, replace, fix or update their units.
